Elizabeth Unpacked

Elizabeth Lewis, a Jamaican Microbiology Lab Technician and avid dance enthusiast, finds immense delight in exploring various forms of self-expression, including acting and singing. These creative outlets allow her to unearth hidden facets of her identity, bringing her great joy and fulfilment.

Motivated by her belief in the power of creative endeavours to enact positive change for young women globally, Elizabeth wholeheartedly embraced the opportunity to be a part of this project. She sees her involvement as an integral part of her purpose, as she strives to contribute to initiatives that foster empowerment and transformation. The role she plays in the project resonates deeply with her, fueling her dedication and passion.

Elizabeth’s personal philosophy draws inspiration from actor Matthew McConaughey’s words: “Be less impressed and more involved.” This mantra encourages her to actively engage in the world around her, leaving a lasting impact through her actions and contributions. Additionally, a scripture about forgiveness (Matthew 18:21-22) holds significant meaning for Elizabeth, guiding her on a path of compassion, growth, and positive change.

With these ideologies as her guiding principles, Elizabeth has cultivated a strong sense of purpose and a deep desire to effect positive change not only in her own life but also in the lives of those around her. Through her involvement in this project, she aims to channel her passion and talents towards empowering young women and creating a better world for future generations.
